  • We support our technicians in maintaining their certification through free on-site Continuing Education Classes (CEU), as well as a biennial $1,500 stipend for national/international conferences. As we value our technicians to grow by pursuing new advanced certifications, we have a generous tuition reimbursement plan and 3 paid professional days a year.  Many of our technicians go on to become Lead Technicians and even Department Managers here at Angell, if management is your goal.


  • If you’d like to challenge yourself to become an expert in a new service area, we offer specialty services in dentistry, pain medicine, anesthesiology, avian and exotic medicine, animal behavior, cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, emergency and critical care medicine, internal medicine, neurology and neurosurgery, nutrition, medical and radiation oncology, ophthalmology, and surgery.


  • Caring for approximately 80,000 animals a year, you will not be bored with our full and diverse animal case load. With 55 senior veterinarians, 17 interns, and 13 residents, you can see where we get our reputation as one of the finest veterinary teaching hospitals in North America.


    We are seeking enthusiastic, dedicated and driven new graduates from an AVMA accredited Vet Tech program or experienced CVTs.   Interested applicants should be highly motivated, flexible and embody the values of our organization: compassion, excellence, service, integrity, positivity, and collaboration.


    Expanding our specialty services means we have openings in Anesthesia, Internal Medicine, Collaborative Care, Dental, Emergency-CCU, General Medicine, Inpatient and Surgery.

Education:  A Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree from an accredited Vet Tech program

To be hired for a  technician position, you must be a Certified Veterinary Technician
