Veterinary Assistant/Technician

We are currently hiring for an experienced Veterinary Assistant/Technician for our one doctor small animal practice where the pet is treated like a family member.

Qualifications:

• Certification preferred but not required.
• Positive attitude and good work ethic are a must.
• Ability to work both independently and with a team required.
• Job includes both customer service and patient care.

We are an American Animal Hospital Association accredited facility (www.healthypet.com for information on AAHA).

We are currently looking for experienced Veterinary Assistants/Technicians only. Full time M-F.

As a Veterinary Assistant, you will have many responsibilities on our team:

• You will assist our Veterinarian utilizing your skills in: Venipuncture, catheter placement, radiology, anesthesia monitoring, surgical preparation and assisting, dentistry, laboratory work, pharmacy, patient recovery (The Firehouse has laser surgery, ultrasound, digital radiography, pulse oximetry, laser therapy and more).
• Above all, you will appreciate the love that owners have for their pets.
