- $35 - $50 per hour based on qualifications and experience

About the Role:
You will work closely with our Radiation Oncologist and veterinary team to ensure optimal patient care, precision in treatment delivery, and accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer Radiation Treatments
- Deliver radiation treatments, including stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), to canine and feline patients under the supervision of a board-certified veterinary radiation oncologist.
- Equipment
- Operate using a new Elekta Versa Linear Accelerator.
- Patient Positioning and Treatment Delivery
- Position patients of various sizes and shapes for treatment.
- Accurately deliver the prescribed course of radiation therapy.
- Dosimetry and Treatment Planning
- Dosimetry experience is highly valued for assisting with treatment plan development.
- Contribute to plan Quality Assurance (QA) and thorough documentation of cases.
- Potential involvement in planning Computed Tomography (CT) setups.
- Anesthesia and Patient Care
- Assist with holding patients for anesthesia induction and monitor them post-anesthesia until fully awake.
- Support medical procedures such as blood draws, small biopsies, or fine needle aspirates of masses.
- Teamwork and Communication
- Demonstrate a high level of communication skills and commitment to a collaborative team environment.

Required Qualifications and Skills:
- A Bachelor's Degree in the physical or biological sciences OR Registered in Radiation Therapy Technology by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists or equivalent organization
- Two years of clinical experience or graduate of a JRCERT-accredited program in radiation therapy (or equivalent).
- Certified and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy or ARRT Board exam eligible.
- Eligible for licensure by the New Hampshire State Department of Health as a radiologic technologist.
- Dosimetry experience or willingness to learn (responsible for registering imaging for treatment planning and contouring of normal structures).
- Proficiency with computer platforms like Varian Eclipse and Aria (training provided).
- Experience with stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT), and image-guided radiotherapy (IGRT).
- Strong communication skills and patient/client-oriented mindset.
- Demonstrates enthusiasm, initiative, and attention to detail.
- Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role.
