Emergency and Critical Care Veterinary Technician - Overnights

Up to $2500 Signing Bonus! 
Salary: commensurate with experience

Are you a caring and hardworking veterinary nurse who embraces the madness in an emergency and critical care hospital? Want to join a talented, cohesive, and compassionate team focused on providing exceptional patient care and client service? We are seeking an experienced veterinary technician to work in our Buzzards Bay location principally on overnights (10pm-7am). Work 4 nights and enjoy your days off on the sunny beaches of Cape Cod.; includes some weekends and holidays.

We offer an extensive in house training program with incentives to pass nursing levels. We fully support your desire to obtain your CVT and/or VTS.  We help you grow with a generous education allowance based on experience. 

Duties include, but are not limited to, advanced nursing, excellent care of hospitalized ICU patients, triaging incoming emergencies, managing the immediate floor organization for the shift you are working, diagnostics, and monitoring anesthesia and surgical assisting .


Qualifications:

  • CVT, RVT, or LVT (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
  • 2 years ECC experience required
  • Remains current on R.E.C.O.V.E.R. CPR guidelines
  • VTS ECC preferred, or desire to achieve
  • Advanced anesthesia and analgesia experience
