Internal Medicine Technician
Burlington Emergency and Veterinary Specialists (BEVS) is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our growing 24-hour Emergency, Internal Medicine and Specialty practice. This is a full time position in our Internal Medicine department with week day shift hours. BEVS is independently owned and operated and the largest emergency and referral hospital of its type serving Vermont and upstate New York.
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to; assisting with appointments, running CT scans, assisting with MRI's, prepping and assisting with ultrasound, endoscopy, thoracoscopy, bronchoscopy, and cystoscopy. Medicine Technicians are involved with all aspects of client communication in person and over the phone and are responsible for their patient’s well-being during the entire hospital stay (outpatient or inpatient).

Required qualifications include Certified Veterinary Technician with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a general practice or specialty setting. Candidates must be friendly, outgoing and people oriented. Must be a self-motivated, team player who thrives in a busy environment. Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate strong technical skills. Computer and telephone skills are a must.
